Who is Michael Wheeler?
I’m a running evangelist, sold out preacher man for Jesus.

Why did you choose Superman?
One of my superheroes coming up as a kid. As I got older, I was thinking about it, running these marathons. Then I got the idea to wear a Superman shirt. Then I put the name Jesus on it. Then I got the cape.

List three things you want to achieve.
My goal number one is to get to heaven. Two, I want to take as many as I can with me. Third, I want to see our nation’s heart turned back to God.

What motivates you to succeed?
The goodness of the Lord, His grace in my life.

What makes you happiest?
To see other people happy. My inspiration is to make people smile. I was depressed for a season in life so I know that feeling.

What is your greatest achievement and how has it shaped you?
One that sticks out, finished running through all 50 states in one year. Running seven laps around every capital building in America in one year. I call it the Jericho Run.

If you could change one law, what would it be?
It might be controversial if I say this. Stop the abortions, killing of babies. My only son almost got killed by an abortion. I got married in high school to save my son’s life. My former wife’s mother was going to make her have an abortion.

What one thing can you not go a day without?
I can’t go one day without the Lord in my life.

If you could run anywhere in the world, where would it be?
Through the streets of Jerusalem, Israel. I can run the streets where my Lord walked.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be? How would you use it?
I have to think, I want to be realistic. I don’t know. I’m drawing a blank.

What is the best concert you’ve ever been to?
I haven’t been to too many. The Jackson Southerners.

If you could only eat at one restaurant for the rest of your life, where would it be? What would you order?
McDonald’s. I’m playing! Where I used to work, The Capital Grille. I would order salmon, rice, and vegetables.

What do you do when you’re not running?
Praying and reading the Word. I have other hobbies, bowling. I play football a lot.

Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car?
Ride a horse.

What is one thing you will never do again?
I’ll never run from the Lord. I used to run from the calling on my life, for many years. Then I surrendered.

If you could speak to everyone in the world at same time, what would you say?
I would say, “Please give your heart to the Lord, while you still have time”.

What words of wisdom would you pass on to the next person?
To spread good vibes around. In other words, share as much love as possible. In the world, so many commit suicide. A kind word can save someone’s life. A person can be at the end of their rope and a word can save them or push them over the edge.
